Harold Leonard Goyette
HOLMEN — Harold Leonard Goyette, 64, son of the late Ambrose and Eileen (Culbert) Goyette, was born Dec. 3, 1943, in La Crosse. He died on Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse.
Harold married Mary (Novacek) on April 1, 1967. They had two sons, Michael and John.
Harold worked at Torrance Foundry, Norplex/Isola and then retired from Kwik Trip.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, George, Gerald, Frederick and Ambrose Jr.
Harold is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Michael (Carrie) Goyette of Holmen and John (Melissa) Goyette of Buffalo, Minn.; brothers, Raymond (Chris) Goyette, Alden Goyette, Gordon (Shirley) Goyette and Eugene Goyette; one sister, Geraldine (Leo) Lusk; two sisters-in-law, Eileen Goyette and Jeanette Goyette; six grandchildren, Aaron, Alex, Tricia, Emma, Anna and Sophia; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will at 1 p.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1504 Holley St., Holmen. Pastor Arndt will officiate, and burial will be in Long Coulee Cemetery, rural Holmen. Friends may call at Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 515 McHugh Road, Holmen, on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Sandra Lau Kidd
LA CROSSE — Sandra Lau Kidd, 63, of La Crosse died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Bethany-Riverside Nursing Home in La Crosse.
She was born in Saline, Mich., on Dec. 6, 1944, to Fred and Margaret Lau. Sandra was a 1963 graduate of La Crosse Logan High School. She served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
She is survived by her parents of Onalaska, Wis.; a daughter, Michelle (William) Hutchinson of Rockville, Md.; a son, Christopher Kidd of San Antonio, Texas; triplet grandsons, William, Chris and Alex; a granddaughter, Hunter; a sister, Marci Lau of West Salem, Wis.; two nieces, Savanna Lau and Skye DeBoer; three nephews, Jeffrey and Dylan Van Oursouw and Isaac DeBoer; and a very good friend, Mary Quinlan.
Following Sandra’s wishes, there will be no services and her cremains will be placed in Arlington National Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Bethany-Riverside Nursing for their wonderful care of Sandra.

ONALASKA — Mark S. Wilhelm, 48, of Onalaska died Monday, March 24, 2008. Services will announced by Dickinson Family Funeral Home.
Nathanial J. Stetter
HOLMEN — Nathanial J. Stetter, 20, died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Friday, March 21, 2008, in Ely, Minn. Nate was born July 26, 1987, in La Crosse, to Joseph and Ann (Kube) Stetter. He graduated from Holmen High School in 2005 and was attending Vermilion Community College in Ely, pursuing a career in wildlife management, the love of his life. Nate was full of life. He enjoyed the outdoors, all that it had to offer, and especially enjoyed his trips to “the shack.”
He is survived by his parents of Holmen; two sisters, Hannah at home and Aubrey (Lucas Nugent) of Idaho; maternal grandparents, Franklin and Janet Kube of La Crosse; loving girlfriend, Cathy Slimmen; aunts and uncles, Lynn (Scott) Roellig, Jean (Mike) Wozniak, Don (Mary) Kube, Chip (Rosie) Kube, Jim (Coleen) Kube, Jerry (fiancee Darlene) Stetter, John (Sue) Stetter, Willy (Joan) Stetter, and Sue (Jerry) Severson; he was very close to his many wonderful cousins, his many great friends, and his faithful companion for the last 10 years, his yellow Lab, Shine.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; and an uncle, Gene Stetter.
A memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 515 North Main St., Holmen. The Rev. Robert Schaller and the Rev. Delbert Malin will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday, both at the church.
Memorials may be given to Ducks Unlimited or to Vermilion Community College.
