Mike Giese is an excellent choice for the next mayor of Onalaska.
We in Onalaska have an opportunity to elect a new mayor who already has a great deal of experience on the Onalaska Common Council. Mike Giese has dedicated himself to serving the people of Onalaska as council member for the past five years.
He has served on many committees, most significantly the Parks Board and currently as chairman of the Plan Commission. As the city of Onalaska continues to grow and plan for the future, Mike’s significant experience as business manager, executive officer and consultant will be a very valuable asset.
Mike is very much a family-oriented person. He is a thoughtful and intelligent man who is also a good listener. He will carefully listen to all sides of an issue before deciding how to proceed.
He has demonstrated by his actions a sincere willingness to continue to serve the people of Onalaska while promoting the positive, fiscally responsible growth of our community.
He is a long-time resident (by his choice) of the city of Onalaska after having lived, worked and gained experience in a wide variety of settings.
Mike brings to us this broad range of experiences and insights, which will contribute constructively to our city planning and future development.
