Published - Tuesday, May 13, 2008 Music in the spotlight at two weekend events at Luther Two events this weekend will put showcase music at Luther High School. Luther High School’s Knight Revue will be held Saturday, May 10, at 7 p.m. The concert, which has a theme of “Come Sail Away,” will feature the school’s Sound Foundation show choir performing music ranging from pop to jazz to country. A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the concert to benefit the music department, and snacks and beverages will be available. In addition, the Spring Spotlight will showcase the school’s musical groups in a concert to begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 11. The Luther Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Cantate Choir, Sound Foundation show choir and various soloists will perform, as will the Lancer Band and Lancer Jazz Band. Both events will be held at the school, 1501 Wilson St. in Onalaska.
