Preparations are under way for the 2008 Miss Holmen Scholarship Pageant — a "Summer Safari" to be held Aug. 8.
There will be an informational meeting for women ages 17-24 on Tuesday, June 10, at Pizza Corral in Holmen from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Those eligible for the pageant attend or are graduates of Holmen High School and those who live or work in Holmen.
At the informational meeting, Miss Holmen 2007 Raeanna Johnson and members of the Miss Holmen planning committee will be available to answer questions. Those who cannot attend the meeting and are interested in participating should call Kim Jackson at 526-2116 or Bridget Pfaff at 386-2177.
