The Onalaska Boys Basketball Booster Club will be hosting its 24th annual John Shelton Memorial Midwest Summer Basketball Classic Saturday and Sunday.

Onalaska also will field a team in the 16-team tournament. Onalaska plays La Crescent at 10 a.m., Holmen at 2 p.m. and Westby at 6 p.m., all at Onalaska High School. All games are being played on two courts in the Chuck Deeth Fieldhouse with the reduced field.

Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students per day. Admission is good for all games. Games run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. until the 4 p.m. championship games Sunday.

Holmen will play in the same pool as Onalaska, with its other two games against La Crescent and Westby. Luther plays West Salem Coulee Region Christian School at 10 a.m., Brookwood at 4 p.m. and Spring Valley at 8 p.m.

Other teams in the tournament include Central, Aquinas, Logan, West Salem, North Crawford, Hillsboro and Potosi. Central will field two teams in the tournament.
