Holmen Drive to close Wednesday morning

Part of South Holmen Drive (also known as Business 35) in Holmen will be closed from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, in order for Xcel Energy to install a power cable across Holmen Drive near Hale Drive.

The road will be closed from the Highway 53 interchange north to Gaarder Road. Westbound traffic on Hale Drive also will be closed.

Northbound traffic will be diverted to Highway 53 North. Southbound traffic will be diverted to Sand Lake Road.

Travelers are advised to allow for extra time and if possible take an alternate route.
